PSX Market closes on a negative note
KARACHI: Trading at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed on a negative note on Friday, by the close trading session to reach 50742.03 and volume of 76,376,580 shares. High and Low were 51197.27 and 50666.13 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 14,555,623,438 shares with 404 total traded shares of companies out of which 243 Companies’ shares were up and 153 Companies’ shares were down and 8 were unchanged positively.
COMMERCIAL BANKS were the top traded sectors with total traded volume of 68,616,100 shares. It was followed by TEXTILE SPINNING with a total traded volume of 55,911,700 shares.
The three top companies were Silk Bank Ltd with a volume of 24,301,500 and price per share of 1.91 (0.04), Summit Bank with a volume 21,457,000 of price per share of 6.63 (0.29), and Kohinoor Spining with a volume 16,240,500 of price per share of 7.22 (0.76).
The top three advancers were Exide (PAK) with price per share 952.35 (45.35), Bhanero Tex. with price per share of 882.93 (42.04) and Shield Corp. with price per share of 682.00 (24.00).
The top three decliners were ICI Pakistan with price per share of 1114.61 (-48.70), Colgate Palmolive with price per share of 2200.00 (-25.00) and Pak Suzuki with price per share of 797.68 (-21.87).
