Karachi (Web Desk): Trading at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed on a Negative note on Thursday, with 38784.66 points and volume of 71,109,640 shares. High and Low were 39907.32 and 38769.09 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 202,748,298 shares with 354 total traded shares of companies out of which 49 Companies shares were up and 288 Companies shares were down and 17 were unchanged.
POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION was the top traded sectors with total traded volume of 26,257,300 shares. It was followed by TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION with a total traded volume of 22,532,000 shares.
The three top companies were K-Electric Ltd. with a volume of 13,720,000 and price per share of 6.23 (-0.41), Worldcall Telecom with a volume of 12,857,500 and price per share of 3.00 (-0.19), and Dewan Cement with a volume of 9,789,500 and price per share of 15.07 (0.92).
The top three advancers were Unilever FoodsXD with price per share 7000.00 (50.00), Island Textile with price per share of 874.12 (41.62) and Pak TobaccoXD with price per share of 1874.09 (24.09).
