ITU to launch MIT Technology Review, Pak edition
LAHORE – Information Technology University Vice Chancellor Dr Umer Saif announced another achievement of ITU, by launching MIT Technology Review, Pakistan edition.
MIT Technology Review is one of the oldest and renowned Science and Technology Publications of the world. The United States started this publication and now it’s available in 147 countries. Only eleven partners are the part of its global editions, including the IT University of Pakistan.
In his statement, Dr Umer said, “A flagship publication of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT Technology Review was founded on 1899, which later published in six languages.” The launching ceremony of this prestigious review will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at 3.00 pm, at IT University, Arfa Software Technology Park, Ferozepur Road.
The chief guest of the ceremony will be Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Reforms, Prof. Ahsan Iqbal while Prof. Dr Mukhtar Chairman, HEC and Zachary Harchenrider, US Consul General will also speak at the occasion. Senior Journalists, Educationists and Scientists of all over the country will participate.
