KCCI having new elected body


KARACHI – Younas M Bashir, former chairman of SITE Association of Industry, took over as President, Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) for the period of one year at KCCI’s annual general meeting held here on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the names of new body elected un-opposed were formally announced amid clapping by a large number of KCCI members for the continuous victory of Businessmen Group led by its Chairman Siraj Kassam Teli for last eighteen years. Zia Ahmed Khan and Muhammad Naeem Sharif also took over as Senior Vice President and Vice President of KCCI respectively. Besides, the names of winning 15 KCCI managing committee members were announced.

KCCI top leadership was present on this occasion and assured their full support to the newly elected body in their efforts for the promotion of trade, investment and welfare of the business community.

A senior member of KCCI, Wali Muhammad Rahimoon on this occasion recalled the very valued role of Younas M Bashir in the relief activities during last drought in Tharparkar on behalf of Karachi chamber.
