Marvi vows to ensure transparency in BISP
RAWALPINDI – Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Chairperson Marvi Memon has said that highest standards of transparency are being adopted for delivery and efficiency of the organization.
She was addressing at the inaugural ceremony of first model office in Rawalpindi on Wednesday. The chairperson said monitoring tools will be installed gradually in all the offices of BISP throughout the country. She further said that BISP is committed to give dignity, empowerment and meaning to the lives of beneficiaries as envisioned by the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
On the occasion, BISP launched a specialised android based application on a tab which will be used to identify every woman visiting BISP office through biometric verification. After biometric verification, a token number will be issued and the purpose of her visit will be registered in the application. The monitoring will help BISP management to win a war against middlemen who be fool innocent beneficiaries and loot their money.
