Substandard tea recovered in Lahore by authorities
Two culprits arrested during a crackdown in Lahore
LAHORE – Punjab Food Authority (PFA) recovered a huge quantity of substandard tea and arrested two culprits during a crackdown here on Friday.
PFA team led by Food Safety Officer (FSO) Fareeha Anwar raided a warehouse of tea packing factory located in Delhi Gate locality of the provincial capital Lahore. During the raid 2500 kilogram of substandard tea was recovered and two culprits were arrested.
The PFA took the recovered tea in possession and handed over the detainees to police who after registering a case against them have started the investigation.
