LG polls: clash leaves three dead in Sargodha

SARGODHA – At least three people were killed and two others were wounded when a clash broke out between two rival groups in Sargodha district on Saturday.

The clash occurred in Shahpur tehsil of Sargodha. According to reports, two rival groups resorted to firing at a polling station, resulting in the death of three people.

In Punjab, polling was held in 12 districts of the province for the first phase of local government elections. Earlier, at least 11 people were killed following a deadly clash between PPP and PML-N in Ranipur town of Khairpur.
