6 development schemes of Rs 2,520m approved for Punjab
LAHORE: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved six development schemes of Rs 2,520 million including development of industrial estates in Faisalabad, Sialkot, Gujranwala and Bahawalpur.
The approval was given in the 20th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), presided over by Punjab P&D Board Chairman Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Provincial P&D Secretary Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, members of the board, provincial secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included Faisalabad Link Roads Development Programme (FLRDP) at the cost of Rs 695.500 million, Development of Infrastructure in Industrial Estate of Small Industries Estates, Faisalabad at the cost of Rs 370.324 million, Development of Infrastructure in Industrial Estates of SIE-I Sialkot, SIE-I&II Gujranwala and SIE Bahawalpur at the cost of Rs 204.263 million.
Rehabilitation/ improvement/ construction of road from Kotmoman Bhabrah Road to Thathi Noor via Chak no. 19/SB, Uppi, Abadal, Salalm, Phullarwan & Thathi Noor length 34.58 km in District Sargodha at the cost of Rs 477.440 million, widening / improvement of Chakri Adda Harnianwala via Bilawal Road Bridge over Sill River length 20 km, Rawalpindi at the cost of Rs 573.369 million and third party assessment and validation of flood/rain rehabilitation works in nine flood/rain effected divisions of Punjab (1st revision) at the cost of Rs 199.780 million.
