Maldives to attend Pakistani exhibition in Sri Lanka
ISLAMABAD: A major trade delegation from Maldives would visit Pakistani exhibition at Sri Lanka, to be held in January 2016. An official of TDAP said in this regard, Pakistan High Commission at Maldives has sent invitation to all relevant chambers/associations to visit Pakistan exhibition at Colombo where more than 100 companies would showcase their products to buyers/visitors.
He said that Pakistan High Commission at Maldives has sent profiles of exhibitors to all interested buyers for arranging business-to-business meetings with Pakistani companies during exhibition. Pakistan High Commissioner in Maldives Vice Admiral (r) Syed Khawar Ali Shah has informed that Maldives buyers have shown keen interest to visit Pakistan exhibition at Colombo.
He has further informed that bilateral trade between Pakistan and Maldives was below the true potential, needing an enhancement, the TDAP official said.
He informed that the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is organising Single Country Exhibition at Colombo, Sri Lanka from January 15-17, 2016, wherein more than 100 companies from pharma, engineering, agro, textile, marble and handicraft sector are showcasing their products.
