Solidarity walk tributes APS martyrs
LAHORE : The Citizens Protection Committee on Wednesday organised a walk to express solidarity with martyrs of Peshawar’s Army Public School.
The participants started the walk from Jorriya Pul and dispersed peacefully at Saddar round about. They carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans condemning terrorism, besides paying tribute to the students and staff of APS who lost their lives in the gruesome massacre by terrorists on December 16 last year.
Addressing the participants various speakers voiced that every Pakistani was deeply sad over APS carnage and tried to share grief of the bereaved families. They said that the whole Pakistani nation was united to thwart nefarious designs of terrorists. They vowed unflinching support for Pakistan Army till completion of Zarb-e-Azb military operation and elimination of all kind of terrorism.
