Chinese telecom company launches its products in Pakistan

LAHORE: A Chinese telecom company, IP-COM, which deals in Internet Wi-Fi transmitting devices, launched a complete range of its products in Pakistan at a local hotel on Saturday. The displayed products included complete range of indoor and outdoor APs, WLAN controller, PoE & managed switch, broadband router, gateway and related accessories. IP-COM Global Sales Director Bruce said, “Chinese companies are keen to market their products in information technology sector in Pakistan as this would help people of both countries to come closer.

He said that if Internet would reach in every corner of Pakistan, it would result in economic growth of the country. The launch of IP-COM will be a landmark for IT and Internet sector in Pakistan.” IP-COM Country Manager Deon, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Sheikh Muhammad Arshad and Nashuatec Centre Marketing Director Aamir Malik also spoke on the occasion.

Bruce further said that economic partnership between the businessmen of the two countries would not only help tap huge potential exists in Pakistan and China but would also expedite growth. China-Pak Economic Corridor is an ample proof of China’s seriousness in economic uplift of Pakistan, he added. He said that the involvement of Chinese enterprises, both in terms of technical and financial assistance in several development projects is reflective of our cordial relations based on mutual trust and sincerity.
