Pakistan blind cricket team gets NOC

ISLAMABAD: The Interior Ministry on Tuesday grated a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the Pakistan Blind Cricket team for participation in the inaugural Asia Cup to be staged in India this month.

The Asia Cricket Cup will be played from January 17 to 24. The participating teams in the event include Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.

Talking to APP, Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) Chairman Syed Sultan Shah said we were only waiting for our visas now for the event.

“The team will hopefully depart to India on January 16,” he said. He said the Indian Interior Ministry had also assured of providing foolproof security to all participating teams in the tournament.
