Passengers spoil PIA’s premier services facility
Islamabad: Just some days after when Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) launched premier services on eve of Independence day, the airline passengers damaged and stolen plane’s valuable accessories.
Upon its arrival in London on Wednesday, one of the recently inducted A-330s looked nothing like a new plan as people had thrown waste everywhere and stolen lotion bottles, kept in the washrooms.
PIA Spokesperson Daniyal Gilani on his Twitter account posted pictures of PK-785 on its arrival in London with a tweet, “This is how our new A-330 looks like on arrival in London yesterday, Lotions stolen” with a request, “Passengers please take care of PIA premier”, he wrote.
Gilani warned, “No passenger is allowed to damage public property,” adding that other airlines “ban” such passengers.
Meanwhile, PIA’s premier flight left for London 30 minutes before its scheduled time leaving 15 passengers at Lahore airport.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Sunday inaugurated PIA’s Premier services at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport in Islamabad.
The first flight of the airline’s premier services introducing better in-flight entertainment, among other features, departed for London.
