TDAP plans to take part in Ambiente Fair 2017
KARACHI: Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) plans to lead a Pakistani delegation of traders to the Ambiente fair which would be held in German city of Frankfurt in February next year.
Aiming to increase Pakistani exports, TDAP would also provide stalls to local traders in subsidized prices particularly to enhance trade of local handicrafts, jewellery, gift items, salt lamps, cutlery, cookware and other consumer goods worth PKR 246,000.
This year, 2016, the Ambiente fair hosted as many as 4,387 exhibitors from 96 countries and about 137,000 buyers from 143 countries across the globe.
The trade fair attracts visitors across the globe particularly from Germany, Italy, France, Spain, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, China, The USA, Switzerland, Turkey, and South Korea. The fair plays a key role in the high-volume consumer goods sector in Europe every year.
Previously, Agro-Hub International, Balochistan Glass, Casaware Industries (Pvt) Limited, Clayworks, Klassic Kitchen, Pak Souvenirs Lahore, and Tariq Glass Industries participated in the exhibition.
