Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi’s responds to Gov. legal notice
LAHORE: Mann Mayal actor Hamza Ali Abbasi on reacted to legal notice issued by Punjab government and refused to apologize to government.
The notice was sent to the actor from Punjab prosecution department about his “dangerous rumors about the abduction of children.” Inshort he is misleading Facebook by false statements, said Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah.
However, Hamza defended his facebook post with such facts and statements which cannot be ignored.
Hamza, in the August 30 post, had claimed that in three months over 900 child kidnappings occurred, which include 400 such incidents from Lahore alone.
“Being a common man, I get my news and facts from News Channels and Newspaper articles,” he wrote.
“If above mentioned information is wrong, then instead of sending notices to these media outlets from which Pakistanis get their information from, they sent me a notice showing the clear intention of this Dictatorial Government to take down any popular voice against them,” Abbasi wrote on his Facebook page.
Hamza Ali Abbasi has always been involved in social activities which usually leads him into trouble as the way of expressing is very straightforward.
On July 19, Facebook removed Hamza’s post in which he praised the slain Kashmiri rebel Burhan Wani. His post was about Kashmir in which he compared Kashmir’s situation with Palestine. Later on Facebook apologized to him for removing the post “mistakenly”
