IMPPA passes resolution banning Pakistani Artists to enter India till normalcy returns
An Indian Newspaper on Friday published a story pertaining to ban on Pakistani Artists in India.
The news story widely read in both countries, India and Pakistan, where tension reported to be growing at Line of Control (LoC).
The Indian Motion Picture Producers Association(IMPPA) on Thursday passed resolution banning Pakistani Actors & technicians in India till normalcy returns in wake of prevailing tensed situation between two countries.
It was further reported in the newspaper the move from IMPPA taken after, what the newspaper termed, India’s surgical strike, while Pakistan has already rejected such claims at the LoC. However, two Pakistani soldiers die in unprovoked firing by Indian Army, officials informed media in Pakistan.
Earlier, MNS issued threats to Pakistani actors in India and asked them to leave the country, following which prominent Pakistani actor Fawad Khan secretly left India.
Consequently, several Cinema owners in Pakistan decide not to screen Indian movies in Pakistan.
