Quaid-e-Azam remembered on his 68th Death Anniversary
LAHORE: Biographer of ‘Quaid e Azam’, Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Stanley Wolpert, said that Jinnah remains Pakistan’s greatest leader.
Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam, Mohammad Ali Jinnah is being remembered on his 68th death anniversary across Pakistan. Special arrangements are being made in different areas of the country to remember his services for the independence of Pakistan.
He worked hard for bringing Pakistan on the world map. He was first Pakistan’s Governor-General until his death. His birthday is observed as a national holiday in Pakistan. Jinnah had led from the front and got homeland for Pakistanis.
Jinnah worked to establish the new nation’s government and policies, and to aid the millions of Muslim migrants who had emigrated from the new nation of Indian to Pakistan after independence. He was personally supervising the matters of refuges.
Jinnah died at the age of 71 in 11 September 1948 due to serious illness, just over a year after Pakistan gained independence.
