Rana Sanaullah terms Imran Khan’s comments on PSL Final as nonsense
ISLAMABAD: Punjab Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah, on Monday has responded to Imran Khan’s comments on hosting Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Lahore by terming his comments nonsense.
Following the decision by government of Punjab over holding of PSL final in Lahore, chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has termed the idea of hosting of PSL madness by opposing the government’s decision.
The decision made by Chief Minister Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif, after a meeting in Lahore in presence of all provincial and federal security agencies’ representatives.
Moreover, the provincial government vowed to give foolproof security arrangements for the final.
“This is such a bad idea, for I can’t understand what we will gain through this,” Imran Khan questioned while commenting on holding of PSL final in Lahore.
“Bringing army to Lahore and alarming security to hold a match, that too a PSL match not an international one…..Will this make people think that peace has been restored in Lahore,” he added.
This would be counterproductive, given the fact that the army providing security for the match, the PTI chief said.
Furthermore he said, “God forbid if a blast occurs, then instead of bringing cricket to the country, there would be no cricket here for the next ten years.”
