Death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto being observed
LARKANA: 38th death anniversary of former Prime Minister and founder of Pakistan Peoples Party Zulfikar Ali Bhutto is being observed today.
Zulfikar Ali Bhutto served as the 9th Prime Minister of Pakistan, from 1973 to 1977 and prior as the 4th president from 1971 to 1973.
On this occasion, Sindh government on Monday has declared a public holiday in the province.
Quran Khawani will be held for the departed souls of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto, at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and a Mushaira will also be held at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto in which noted poets across the country will pay homage to the departed soul through their poetry.
A public meeting will be held in front of the Mausoleum of Bhutto Family this afternoon and will be addressed by Chairman of PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Co-Chairman of PPP and former President Asif Ali Zardari and central leaders of PPP.
All the provincial presidents of the party and central leaders will also address the public meeting.
