Star boxer Amir Khan chased and attacked by group of men

Amir Khan was chased through the streets and was attacked by a gang in his hometown of Bolton in Greater Manchester, during a road rage attack when his when his designer £100,000 4×4 Range Rover was involved in an accident.

The boxer and other party engaged in a violent encounter after a clash over the collision, thought to have been caused when the boxer took a wrong turn.

It is believed several men set on Khan with one man throwing a punch in his direction. No arrests have been made in relation to the incident, which took place at around 9.15pm.

According to Manchester police spokeswoman, ‘We were called to reports of road rage incident, it appears the person driving has made a wrong turn and this has angered the person behind them and there’s been an altercation.”

This is not the first time the boxer has encountered trouble while driving. In 2012 Amir and his boxer brother Haroon was targeted by a six-strong gang who tried to steal his Range Rover by ambushing him following a night out with his boxer brother in Birmingham.

The brothers fought off the men who later posted a video online claiming to have stolen keys to his Porsche and a Louis Vuitton wallet containing 500 euros.
