Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal to leave for US today

Islamabad : Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal will leave for the United States today to participate in the annual session of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank on October 11.

In his tour to US, the interior minster will raise the matter of United States Secretary of Defense James Mattis’ recent statement against China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and conduct meetings with leaders of different countries on the sidelines of the session.1These meetings will be to take the world leaders into confidence regarding CPEC and to seek their support in anti-drugs operation.
