Banks start receiving Hajj applications

Islamabad (Web Desk) – The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has started receiving Hajj applications under the Government Scheme from today (Monday).

According to details, applicants can submit their forms in banks till January 24 whereas the draw will be held on 26th of this month.

The authorities said that 179,210 Pakistani pilgrim will perform Hajj this year. As many as 59,210 pilgrims would perform the Hajj through the Private Hajj Scheme.

Hajj package under the government scheme from Karachi, Quetta and Sukkur will be Rs.280,000 and from Peshawar, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Faisalabad and Sialkot would be Rs 270,000.
