Business Plus: PSX Market closes first week of 2018 on high
Karachi (Web Desk): Trading at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed on a Positive note on Thursday, with 42523.99 points and volume of 109,956,470 shares. High and Low were 42584.96 and 41821.85 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 308,654,072 shares with 377 total traded shares of companies out of which 270 Companies shares were up and 85 Companies shares were down and 22 were unchanged.
COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sectors with total traded volume of 44,554,600 shares. It was followed by TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION with a total traded volume of 27,572,500 shares.
The three top companies were B.O.Punjab with a volume of 18,052,500 and price per share of 9.51 (0.75), WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 11,937,500 and price per share of 2.96 (0.05), and K-Electric Ltd. with a volume of 10,516,000 and price per share of 6.86 (-0.09).
The top three advancers were Nestle PakistanXD with price per share 11700.00 (510.00), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 1517.21 (72.24) and Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 1498.29 (71.34).
The top three decliners were Shezan Inter.XD with price per share of 492.10 (-25.90), K.S.B.Pumps with price per share of 319.49 (-16.80) and Gillette Pak with price per share of 275.50 (-14.50).
