Karachi (Web Desk): Trading at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed on a Negative note on Monday, with 44457.30 points and volume of 87,133,390 shares. High and Low were 44855.77 and 44337.72 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 233,439,855 shares with 362 total traded shares of companies out of which 148 Companies shares were up and 197 Companies shares were down and 17 were unchanged.
COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sectors with total traded volume of 50,118,100 shares. It was followed by CEMENT with a total traded volume of 32,683,800 shares.
The three top companies were Dewan Cement with a volume of 23,704,000 and price per share of 24.41 (1.16), B.O.Punjab with a volume of 23,341,000 and price per share of 10.31 (0.37), and Faysal Bank with a volume of 7,588,000 and price per share of 24.62 (1.17).
The top three advancers were Unilever Foods with price per share 8000.00 (100.00), Ghandara Ind. with price per share of 607.80 (28.94) and Khyber TobaccoXB with price per share of 1037.49 (17.03).
The top three decliners were Nestle Pakistan with price per share of 11600.00 (-250.00), Bata (Pak) with price per share of 2403.00 (-97.00) and Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 1750.00 (-33.67).
