Karachi (Web Desk): Trading at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed on a Negative note on Thursday, with 43395.28 points and volume of 163,177,820 shares. High and Low were 43824.02 and 43140.94 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 376,131,184 shares with 378 total traded shares of companies out of which 146 Companies shares were up and 218 Companies shares were down and 14 were unchanged.
CEMENT was the top traded sectors with total traded volume of 47,198,300 shares. It was followed by TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION with a total traded volume of 43,196,000 shares.
The three top companies were WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 20,548,000 and price per share of 2.90 (-0.07), Sui South Gas with a volume of 19,408,000 and price per share of 35.38 (1.50), and K-Electric Ltd. with a volume of 18,787,000 and price per share of 6.67 (-0.25).
The top three advancers were Rafhan Maize with price per share 7200.00 (269.00), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 1844.16 (87.81) and Murree Brewery with price per share of 38.21 (38.21).
