CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif arrives at Zainab’s house
Kasur (Online): Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif arrived at house of seven-year-old Zainab, who was brutally murdered after rape, on late Wednesday night.
According to sources, he met the parents and other family members of Zainab and condoled her tragic murder.
CM Shehbaz on his arrival in Kasur by the newly-appointed DPO Kasur Zahid Khan Marwat. The spokesman for Punjab government, Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan and top police officials also accompanied CM Shehbaz during the visit.
Speaking on the occasion, Malik Ahmad Khan said that culprits involved in Zainab case will be in custody soon. He also said that police officials involved in firing on unarmed protesters have been arrested.
A seven year old innocent Zainab was allegedly raped and then murdered near Shahbaz Khan Road on Tuesday.
According to Police, the minor was a resident of Rod Kot area of Kasur, was kidnapped on her way to a tuition centre. Her body was found in a garbage pile near Kashmir Chowk after four days.
The police rushed to spot and shifted the dead body to DHQ Hospital Kasur for autopsy. Hospital sources claim the autopsy confirmed that the minor girl was raped and then strangulated to death.
In the absence of her parents who have gone Saudi Arabia for performing Umrah, the family searched her everywhere but found no clue about the minor.
