PSX closes week positively on earning optimism
Karachi (Web Desk): Trading at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed on a Positive note (on Friday) on earning optimism, with 44178.83 points and volume of 97,361,620 shares. High and Low were 44203.13 and 433580.88 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 251,354,365 shares with 382 total traded shares of companies out of which 264 Companies shares were up and 103 Companies shares were down and 5 were unchanged.
CEMENT was the top traded sectors with total traded volume of 33,988,150 shares. It was followed by TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION with a total traded volume of 22,250,000 shares.
The three top companies were WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 12,962,500 and price per share of 2.87 (0.07), Sui South Gas with a volume of 12,224,500 and price per share of 34.59 (1.18), and Dewan Cement with a volume of 11,385,500 and price per share of 21.80 (-1.01).
