Karachi (Web Desk): Trading at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed on a Positive note on Monday, with 43112.12 points and volume of 125,685,830 shares. High and Low were 43256.57 and 42523.99 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 314,398,813 shares with 379 total traded shares of companies out of which 276 Companies shares were up and 81 Companies shares were down and 22 were unchanged.
TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION was the top traded sectors with total traded volume of 50,660,000 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 31,516,700 shares.
The three top companies were WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 35,268,000 and price per share of 3.17 (0.21), Azgard Nine with a volume of 15,654,500 and price per share of 15.36 (0.91), and Aisha Steel Mill with a volume of 12,921,500 and price per share of 19.84 (0.94).
The top three advancers were Philip Morris Pak.XD with price per share 3190.00 (150.00), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 1593.07 (75.86) and Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 1550.39 (52.10).
