Business Plus: PSX market suspended on Negative note
Karachi (Web Desk): Trading at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed on a Negative note on Monday, with 42911.02 points and volume of 55,132,400 shares. High and Low were 43490.63 and 42804.50 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 193,763,620 shares with 343 total traded shares of companies out of which 125 Companies shares were up and 206 Companies shares were down and 12 were unchanged.
ENGINEERING was the top traded sectors with total traded volume of 34,080,200 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 19,149,500 shares.
The three top companies were Dost Steels LTD. with a volume of 22.462.000 and price per share of 12.58 (-0.67), Azgard Nine with a volume of 11,587,500 and price per share of 17.01 (-0.72) and Fauji Foods Ltd with a volume of 11,518,000 and price per share of 26.25 (0.88).
The top three advancers were Bata (Pak) with price per share 2824.99 (118.49), Pak Tobacco with price per share of 2070.70 (98.18) and Island Textile with price per share of 1128.00 (53.00).
The top three decliners were Unilever Foods with price per share of 8500.00 (-400.00), Nestle Pakistan with price per share of 11900.00 (-70.00) and Murree Brewery with price per share of 821.74 (-43.24).
