LoC yet again flooded by the blood of innocence
Rawalpindi (Web desk) : A civilian was martyred on Friday in unprovoked firing by the Indian troops across the Line of Control (LoC), according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the ISPR, 19-year-old Inzamam Ameen was working at a crush plant in Titri when he was martyred by the Indian troops.
As an answer to this act Pakistan Army troops targeted and destroyed Indian army post that initiated fire on civil population.
The Foreign Office (FO) summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner J.P. Singh to lodge protest over unprovoked ceasefire violations by Indian forces along the LoC.
Furthermore, FO told the Indian diplomat that despite calls for restraint, his country continued to indulge in ceasefire violations.
According to the reports, in 2018, the Indian forces have carried out more than 335 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary, resulting in the shahadat of 15 innocent civilians and injuries to 65 others.
This unprecedented rise in ceasefire violations by India is continuing from the year 2017 when the Indian forces has adjudicated more than 1970 ceasefire violations.
