PPP to hold public rally on “Kashmir Solidarity Day” in Lahore
Lahore (Web Desk): PPP to hold public rally at the historical Mochi Gate ground today on “Kashmir Solidarity Day)” a day.
Former president Asif Ali Zardari has directed the party leadership in Punjab to make arrangements for the public meeting at historical Mochi gate area of Lahore today for expressing solidarity with the victims of Indian atrocities in held Kashmir and ceasefire violation in AJK.
The party would also use the event to express solidarity with the Kashmiris. Sources said that Asif Ali Zardari will give India a strong message on the occasion to stop violations of the Line of Control (LoC).
According to PPP Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira, the PPP will hold an enormous rally on February 5. The Sharif brothers should know that they will not be winning the general elections of 2018.
Kaira said, “Nowhere in the world are such negative tactics used in a democratic setup, but the Sharif brothers are using these because they think that the whole country is their personal fiefdom.”
He added, “It is a matter of shame for the ruling party that the banners and other hangings are being torn apart in various parts of the city.”
Asif Ali Zardari reached Lahore on Saturday and is personally monitoring the arrangements for the public gathering.
