Bilawal, Imran lashes out government for hike In petrol prices
Islamabad (Web Desk): Opposition parties have accosted the government for the excessive hike in petrol prices, reproving it as domination.
It may be mentioned, The Ministry of Finance has approved Rs3.56 increase in the price of petrol, Placing it at Rs. 88.07/litre.
Moreover, the new price of High Speed Diesel is Rs. 98.45/liter, SKO Rs 76.46/liter, Motor Spirit Rs. 88.07/liter, and LDO Rs.65.30/liter.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan People’s Party both have criticized for their unjust and anti people polices.
Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that the recent boost in petrol prices will unleash inflation upon the poor people of Pakistan. He demanded that the government retract the order immediately and announce relaxation in tax. Also PPP senator Saleem Mandviwala announces protest in and outside the parliament against the amplified petrol prices.
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan expressed anger at the hike in petrol prices. He said that the government is not bringing the rick into the tax net, besides putting the entire burden on the poor People. He strongly rejected the price hike as unjust and shameless of the government.
