PSX commences week on negative note
Karachi (Web Desk): Trading at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed on a Negative note on Friday, with 43363.21 points and volume of 54,223,240 shares. High and Low were 43525.59 and 43311.44 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 225,333,386 shares with 357 total traded shares of companies out of which 128 Companies shares were up and 217 Companies shares were down and 12 were unchanged.
CHEMICAL was the top traded sectors with total traded volume of 32,040,400 shares. It was followed by TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION with a total traded volume of 27,131,000 shares.
The three top companies were Pak Elektron with a volume of 16,423,500 and price per share of 46.54 (0.78), Lotte Chemical with a volume of 13,288,500 and price per share of 10.01 (-0.16), and Nimir Resins with a volume of 13,221,500 and price per share of 10.14 (0.05).
The top three advancers were Bhanero Tex. with price per share 695.00 (30.00), Siemens Pak. with price per share of 952.00 (19.00) and Gahndara Ind. with price per share of 804.27 (17.32).
The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 2150.35 (-54.98), Pak Tobacco with price per share of 2105.00 (-40.00) and Millat TractorsXD with price per share of 1254.39 (-32.80).
