Sethi confirms PSL final to be held in Karachi
Karachi (Web Desk): Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi on Monday confirmed that the final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be held in the mega city on March 25.
On his visit, Sethi visited different enclosures, the ground and expressed satisfaction at the security arrangements.
“The final will be held in Karachi and nowhere else. Foreign players are also willing to come to Pakistan for the great finale,” Sethi said this in National Stadium in response to being asked repeatedly by reporters about the final in the city of lights.
Praising Pakistan Army, NLC, PCB officials and Sindh government, Sethi said they are working 24 hours to make stadium ready for the final. “I salute them that how they managed to complete the work in these circumstances. I am impressed. The army had their back while Sindh government providing financial support and workers of NLC and NESPak.”
In view of increasing demand of PSL final tickets, Sethi informed the tickets will be put on sale by March 15th.
“My team wanted to put tickets on sale from March 10th. However, we have a limited capacity so I have decided to put the tickets on sale by March 15th.”
