Another MQM-P Lawmaker Syed Anwar Raza joins PSP
Karachi (Web Desk) : Another Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) member jumped ship on Wednesday. Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chief Mustafa Kamal, at a press conference, announced another addition to the party fold.
Syed Anwar Raza, an elected provincial lawmaker from PS-102, held a meeting with PSP’s Anis Qaimkhani and Kamal earlier today.
Rifts continue to haunt the MQM-P as seven more leaders have left to join the ranks of the PSP in the past 10 days. Several MPAs are also reportedly in contact with the PSP leadership.
On Sunday, MQM-P NA-242 lawmaker Mehboob Alam and MPAs Saifuddin Khalid and Muhammad Kamran joined PSP.
Earlier, MQM-P MNAs Muhammad Muzammil Qureshi, Waseem Hussain, Dr. Fouzia Hameed, Naheed Begum and Naila Munir had already switched the party.
