Pakistan beats Windies to consolidate T20I top spot

Karachi (Web Desk) : Teams of Pakistan and West Indies will clash in the third and final T20I match at National Stadium, Karachi Tuesday. Pakistan is leading the three-match series 2-0.

In the second T20I played yesterday, Pakistan routed West Indies by 82 runs as the visitors’ batting line collapsed while they chased huge total of 206 runs.

Team green aim to consolidate top spot in the T20I rankings by clean-sweeping the three-match series against West Indies tonight.

The Caribbean side were bowled out at 123 thanks to some remarkable bowling performances.

Walton showed some resistance with the bat against Pakistan’s bowling attack, but was bowled by Shadab Khan when he reached 40.

Former Pakistan test captain Ramiz Raja has credited skipper Sarfraz Ahmed for choosing a high-quality team in the ongoing West Indies series.

“It is not easy to captain a young team,” he said.

Pakistan vs West Indies 1st T20I begins at 07:00pm PST (03:00 PM GMT). The coverage of PAK vs WI 1st T20I will begin on the broadcasting channel from 07:30pm PST. The toss will take place at 8:00pm PST.
